2006-01-03: Well, finally back home again after driving 2700 km... Belgium. It was very shifting; snow-chaos, plus-degree, different hotels in different countries, good food and drinking. On the New Years Eve, just after the fireworks, Billy mated Carma the first time. We hope we will have real "rocket-babies", but what else can we expect when the act had an intro with fireworks?! If everything goes as expected, we´re having puppies approx March 5th. We´re now keeping our fingers crossed!

2006-01-06: At the SKK allbreed show in Gothenburg several of our favourites did well:
CC to CARMAs cousin J Lukas, who also became best male and BOB. The other male-CC went to J Gundras Elmer, son of WISSE, who finished his swedish showchampiontitle! Best of the bitches went to Elmers mother, "Inez". "Nordic" became second of the males. It´s in the family...

RIKKE gets the prize NWK Best Huntingdog 2005. She had that prize in 2003!!!

2006-02-03: Both EMBLA and TINDRA from our H-litter are hd A !!! Absolutely good!
And today, the invitation arrived to daddy Nordic to the big gala-show Champion of Champions! It´s the third time he is invited! Only the four best from each group are invited each year...

2006-02-11: ROGER in Latvia went to a international show Tallinn, Estonia, where he got CAC, became BOB and finished his ESTCH! Judge: Stelios Makaritis, Greece. His full name and titles are: LV & EST CH, LV & EST JCH, BaltJW'04 Scuba's Highland Park

2006-02-20: MINA gave birth to 2 males and 1 female! BABBEN became grandma, ASTI became great grandma and CARMA is aunt again!

2006-02-21: WHISQU has been modelling all day! A new shopping-mall is about to open in Stockholm, they took lots of pics. The pictures will pop up in May on buses, in the subway...

2006-02-25: CARMA wins ÖBHK prize "Diven´s Vandringspris"! We donated this trophy to the club in 1993 and it is the first time we win it ourselves! Fun! The rules for competing in the prize are the same as for "Asti´s VP".

2006-03-02: CARMA gave birth to our I-litter: two males and five females! Now we have four generations at home!

2006-03-05: RIKKE has got puppies with the danish male Dax: two males and ten females!

2006-03-11: ROGER went to the CACIB show "Lithuanian Winner", in Vilnius, Lithuania. So - now we proudly can add three more titles to our beautiful guy - LT CH (Lithuanian Champion), BALT CH (Baltic Champion), LT W'06 (Lithuanian Winner 2006). We sure are proud!

2006-03-12: ISA has gave birth to a litter with the danish CH Dox: two males and two females! 2006-03-18: At the annual meeting of SWeiK, CARMA won the trophy Astis VP, BABBEN was awarded with a breederprize in gold and Scuba´s kennel with silver! THANKS to all our fabulous puppybuyer who have made this possible! You all are marvellous!

2006-04-01--02: At the danish weimaranerclub jubilee-springfieldtrials during this weekend, our Scuba´s-lines were represented. Among the dogs having prizes we find:
Asleik (SUCH Scuba´s Bartolomeus Besserwisser x Puk) who had a 1st prize in youthclass,
Scubas Hunter (SV-02 SVCH SV-05 Greydove Nordic Liaison x SUCH SJCH Scuba´s Barfüssige Barbara) who had a 1st prize in openclass, openclass-trophy and a challengeprize for the best dog at the trial, Junkerstatuetten.
We sure are proud!

We recieved a letter from Germany with congratulations and the message that Scuba´s Cragganmore, sire to the G-litter "vom Eulengrund", has earned the german Züchter-Ehrenpreis of 2005! Breeder: Ines and Dr Thomas Feindt, Magdeburg.
Oh boy, this sure feels good!

ATHOS competes in obedienceclass I for the first time. He gets 146 points and a 2nd prize. Well done, Bettan!

2006-04-17: HUNTER in Denmark gets a 3rd prize in openclass springfieldtrials!

2006-05-14: FRASSE goes to SKK allbreed show in Piteå. Judge: Bertil Lundgren. He gets CK, becomes BOB and BIG-3. Awesome!

ATHOS and his owner Bettan has done some good tracking in the woods - a firstprize in bloodtracking in openclass. Congratulations!

2006-06-04: SKK all breed dog show in Österbybruk:
EMBLA gets her first certificate and becoms BOS to daddy "Nordic", who also gets BIG-3. Judge: Bertil Lundgren. Congratulations Cilla for excellent handling! There´s more to come, we are sure about that...

2006-06-05: 18 years...
Time flies. Exactly eighteen years ago our first litter was born. Five males and one female, american cockers. I remember it like it was yesterday - well almost anyway. What I remember most was when he was born, He with the capital "H". My very own DIVEN - he will be mine! And he sure was mine, only mine! We went to many shows and several obedience-competitions. Many... Unfortunately he didn´t have many years. One Midsummer-eve he became blind. Glaucoma. Two days later it was a fact; a dog in his very best years had lost his eyes. How awful it was.
Many puppies have been born since that day, well, not that many. We have until this day had a total of 65 puppies, 59 of them are weimaraners. And I remember them all! All of them have their own little place in my heart, but DIVEN will allways have the biggest. Time flies... Imagine, eighteen years! Hm.

TURE has been to his "old" owner and went to compete in obedience-class I. Rosa and TURE had a well deserved first prize!

He also has 4 points at DRK foxtest, 30 points at VSA (water- and tracking) in Give, has CERT and BOS from shows, a 2nd prize at bloodtracking and last, but not to forget: a firstprize from fieldtrials in youthclass! Proud owner: Dan Siig Svendsen and proud breeder: Bo Christiansen.

MYRAN gets her second 1st in openclass bloodtracking! One more to go for the championtitle! Congratulations, Ulrika!

2006-08-30:
MYRAN got her third 1st prize in openclass bloodtracking! So this means she has a new title - SVCH - Swedish Bloodtrackingchampion! BIG congratulations, Ulrika! You´ve done a good work!

HARPER has been to his first show at the belgian weimaranerclubs Clubmatch, entering dogs: 102 !!!
He became 2nd in the puppyclass with TRES PROMETTEUR (very promising). Congratulations, Bènèdicte and good luck in the future!

Water- and trackingtest in Svansele:
VILDE participated for the first time with his new owner Fredrik. Well, there´s nothing wrong with his passion for water! He sure was swimming but didn´t care much about the gull. He did well on the track, though!
Some more happy news from Norway:
Garbus Pompel (Garbus Man In Black x Scuba´s First Lady of Finlandia) achived a 3rd prize in AK (open class) at the trials in the mountains in Verdal, Norway. And of course, we are proud of our grandchild!

Woodlandtrials in Svansele:
TINDRA and Niklas did their first huntingtest ever, and did a excellent job. They achived a very good 2nd prize in openclass. Great!
Nicke entered with CARMA in elit-class and did a good work. She also achived a 2nd prize! CARMA is the first weimaraner in Sweden having a prize from woodlands in elit-class! Now she has prizes from two different "grounds"!
Yet another dog having a 2nd prize from the trial: Grey Sallows Cinnamon Sedge (Disodil´s Dunder x Scuba´s Créme de Cassis).
Feels good...

2006-09-09:
HUNTER has done it again! At FJD fieldtrials in Simmersted, Denmark, he achieved a nice firstprize from openclass. HUNTER is hereby qualified to go to vinderklasse (elit-class) in fieldtrials. He is the fourth ever in Denmark! We sure are very proud of that! Very well done, Kristian!
Some very pleasing news from France:
HARPER (who became 6 months September 2nd) participated at T.A.N. (Test dÁptitude Naturelle) in Couturelle dans le Pas de Calais, France, and passed! HUGE congratulations, Bènèdicte! And we have another huntingtestmerited Scuba-dog!
And from Norway, also some happy news:
Garbus Tornado (Scuba´s Finest Rob Roy x CH Scuba´s Cointreau) has achived a third prize in youthclass at fieldtrials in Denmark! Happy owner: Kim Birkegaard. Congratulations!

2006-10-07:
At the SKK allbreed show in Sundsvall, both ATHOS and MYRAN entered in openclass. They both had a first. Well done! Especially this meant something big for ATHOS - he has now the title Swedish Bloodtrackingchampion! Congratulations, Bettan!

Nicke and I went for the winnerfieldtrials in Denmark. CARMA entered, she was one of 40 competing dogs, and she was the only weimaraner. There were a "bunch" of different breeds: GSPs, GWPs, münsterländers and drentse patrijshond. It was a very nice competition with VERY hard demands on the dogs! CARMA did very well until the bird was shot... She had her little fun then! Well well, we didn´t manage to the finals but there were only four birds shot that trial and one of the birds was shot for our CARMA. (They only shoot if the dog does a perfect work!) She was in class I, the judge said, until she decided to have her way of too much fun! Anyway, we had a very nice weekend with plenty of good food! And thanks, Camilla, for taking care of our monsterpuppies!

On the same day, there were also fieldtrials on Gotland. Sigrids GAIA (Scuba´s Glengoyne x Woksebs Mymlan) entered in youthclass and had 8 points in the field, a firstprize. We are proud of our granddaughter! And last, but definetely not least:
EMBLA entered in openclass and did very well! She also had 8 points in the field and a first prize! This means she now has the title Swedish Showchampion! BIG congratulations, Marcus and Cilla! We sure are proud!

2006-10-08:
Fieldtrials on Gotland: This Sunday, Sigrids GAIA, entered in openclass and had a first. Fun! EMBLA didn´t have any prize this day, but perhaps that´s not the big issue, since she had her first on the Saturday...
Another funny thing at the trials; Our dear friends Gunnar and Marie did very well with their brittanys. They had their last firsts for the championtitle: MARCO became FTCH and WIMSA became SHCH. Congratulations!

2006-10-14--15:
SWeiK Clubchampionships in Berga: Three Scuba-dogs competing at the trials, CARMA, EMBLA and TINDRA.
Both EMBLA and TINDRA had some bad luck but at least TINDRA had points from the fieldwork. CARMA, on the other hand, did a pretty nice work the whole weekend. She had a first prize in elit-class with 8 points in the field! This is the first time ever a weimaraner gets more than 7 points in field in elit-class! Of course we are are very proud! As if that shouldn´t be enough: she became clubchampion in field and got the honourprize from the shooter!!! Oh my dear...
Clubchampion in water and tracking went to a grandson of ours, Wellieson Gatsby (Scuba´s Glengoyne x Woksebs Mymlan) who also achieved a first in youthclass, like his sister W. Game. And, Weimaranerchampion-title went to CARMAs halfsister Woksebs Ozzie! Great fun!

SWeiK fieldtrials on Öland:
The weathergods showed no mercy - almost storm, but we had the trials anyway. Noticable was that the wild birds were very shy due to sudden cold, rain and very hard wind.
ISA entered in elit-class. She had a lovely search both days. Unfortunately she didn´t manage the birds.
EMBLA entered in open class on the Saturday. She managed the pheasants really fine. Once more, she had a first prize! This means that she must do her next trial in elit-class. Well done, Marcus! EMBLA was the only dog this weekend having a prize from the trials.

It has been a lovely long weekend - funny people, exciting birdy situations, good food and interesting discussions... Extra fun was our visitors from good old England, Steve and Dave. This was the last time Steve is visiting VIBY, next time will be when she goes with him and Marilyn to stay in England. We really look forward to New Years Eve, which we will celebrate with our english friends!

Well, sometimes you have to do as you are told, even if it is by your own puppy-buyers... "There´s only one more first to get..."
Yes, sure. Everybody who knows me (Anci) know how boring I find training bloodtracking. The dogs do the work anyway, without the practise. Going to the test is fun, but training... Anyway, some months ago, I made a tricky one with lots of difficulties in the woods, trying to have the possibility to solve some faults in the dogs tracking. No no, she went like a clock - perfectly.
So, we entered a test, CARMA and I. The judge was delighted: "what a intelligent dog", he said. Yes, she is. We know that. On the critics he also wrote: "A dog with routine, controlling the track and the woods."
She had her last first, thanks to all the "nagging" from our puppy-buyers that I "had to" go to the test. I would probably never have done it otherwise. So, now CARMA is a triple-champion! The second in Sweden! (Which also means that I must update our homepage...) THANKS, all our dear puppybuyer for your loyalty and support!

2006-11-12:
KAISER and VIBY entered their first show, Malmö Valp, the biggest puppyshow in Scandinavia. Over 1400 puppies entering! BOS went to KAISER and BOB went to his sister VIBY, who also became BIG and BIS-6 !!! It was a lovely feeling to call VIBYs owners in England to tell the good news.
The awsome critics by the judge, you´ll find on the page of the I-litter.
At the same time there was the WW-show in Poland. ROGER was placed 4th in his class and his daddy NORDIC was third in his class. The absolutely most fantastic result was, that NORDIC and his progenyclass went BIS !!! A marvellous result by a marvellous stud! We sure are proud that we have had the chance to use him to our H-litter!
